Trauma Lab controls & how to play
Start the game from the homepage, then use its main menu to choose a mode. The sandbox is a useful place to learn the tools. The game is a fictional simulation, not a source of medical instruction.
Choose a tool
- Choose a category from the bar at the bottom: Hand, Weapons, Props, Medicine or Powers.
- Choose a tool from the list or search within the game.
- Click or drag in the scene as the tool’s on-screen hint describes.
Move the camera
On desktop, scroll the mouse wheel to zoom. Hold the middle mouse button, or use W/A/S/D in the sandbox, to move the view. Side, Front and Back change the viewpoint. Use the fit button to bring the subject back into view.
The game’s touch interface supports pinch to zoom and two-finger camera movement. This release has not yet been certified on physical phones; the built-in How to play panel adapts to the input device.
Observe and reset
The patient monitor displays simulated body information. X-ray reveals internal structures; Chart lists injuries. Use New subject to reset the sandbox. Some controls are collected in the More controls (⋯) menu on smaller screens.
Pause, sound and options
Use the game’s pause and sound controls. Options includes graphics and gore settings. If play becomes slow, try a lower gore setting. The game’s own How to play button shows its current controls and configurable keyboard shortcuts.
Fullscreen and the first launch
Press Fullscreen in the toolbar above the game. The original game shows a splash and two creator messages before the menu. Wait for each OK countdown, then continue. Choose Sandbox for free play, or Keep him alive for the medicine-only cases. Story mode access is explained in the version guide.
Leaving a session
The toolbar above the game controls the web player. Reload restarts the whole runtime; Close removes it. Both ask first. Some game settings and records may stay in your browser, but a running session is not guaranteed to survive a reload.
