Self-hosted game

The game, fonts and launcher are served from this site. The launcher loads the game after you press Play. It does not load an itch.io iframe or Google Fonts.

Crawlers and request records

Cloudflare Crawler Hints shares public website-update information with participating search engines. Our server records recognized crawler names, official-IP verification results, public page paths, response status and timestamps. It also counts public-page requests by referring hostname, including known AI services; these are requests, not unique visitors. We do not retain IP addresses, raw user agents, full referrer URLs, query strings, cookies or account identifiers in these records. Do Not Track suppresses referral records. Test and active webmaster-validation traffic is excluded from genuine crawler reports. Records currently have no automatic deletion schedule; contact support for questions.

Browser storage

The game may use local storage for its language, options, onboarding state and best mode records. The original runtime uses keys beginning with traumaLab. These remain in your browser; this edition does not add an account system or a cloud save service. Private browsing or blocked storage can affect persistence.

Use your browser’s site-data controls to remove local data. Doing so can erase preferences and records. Active sessions are not guaranteed to be saved.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure public page visits, engagement and basic launcher events (starting, loading, closing and entering fullscreen). Analytics loads automatically on the seven public pages at traumalab.app. It does not run inside the game, on preview sites or on localhost. We remove query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs. We do not send simulated injuries, health values, game settings, scores or saved records to Google. Advertising scripts and Google signals are disabled.

Google receives network information and uses first-party _ga cookies to distinguish visits. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s analytics opt-out tool. We respect Do Not Track and your saved choice below. If browser storage is unavailable, analytics stays off.

Analytics settings require JavaScript.

Your choice is stored separately under traumalab-privacy-v1. Turning analytics off stops further collection and removes this site’s GA cookies; it does not erase game records or data already processed by Google.

Hosting requests

Like any website, the hosting service receives network requests including an IP address and browser request information to deliver files and maintain security. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network and security request information to deliver the site; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The game does not send browser records to a site-owned database.

External links

Links inside the site or game can take you to itch.io, Discord or other creator-managed services. Those services have their own policies. They are not necessary for loading the self-hosted game.
